The Bainbridge Goin' Postal is taking part in the Goin' Postal chains patriotic beautification program to offer free replacement American flags. The flags are provided free* to anyone bringing in a tattered, torn or faded American Flag during the month of July.

The Bainbridge Goin' Postal is one of the 250+ family-owned stores in the Goin' Postal packing and shipping chain. Goin' Postal is well known for its grassroots community involvement, and the chain encourages each store owner to be extremely hands-on in terms of participating in, organizing, and hosting family-friendly community events. Owners of the Bainbridge Goin' Postal, Ben Richard and wife Kim, have been active in the community since arriving.

Ben Richard, a former Marine, was involved in the Bainbridge High School Air Force JROTC Toys for Tots drive this past Christmas. He also purchased the American Flags that Potter Street Elementary school children waved when the advanced National Guard Unit left in March and did the same thing again when the 1230th Transportation Unit deployed in early April. He has been a drop off point for items to be sent to soldiers deployed and has enlisted the help of the Deep South Riders to add to the items and help defray shipping cost.

Now, just in time for the Fourth of July, you can have a new flag to fly to show your patriotism. Just take your "tattered, torn, or faded American Flag to Goin' Postal located in the Inland Port Mall during the month of July to receive a FREE 4' x 6' American Flag.

This is a franchise effort and with the help of Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, VFW and other entities nationwide, the traded in tattered, torn and faded American Flags will be disposed of properly.
